Suspension of Fresh Water Supply (10 May 2015)
Due to urgent repair work of water pipes, supply of fresh water will be suspended on 10 May 2015 (Sun) from 9:00am-6:00pm.

Minor Works in 3/F Multimedia Commons and G/F Group Discussion Rooms from 11-15 May 2015
- Multimedia Commons
Electricity work will be conducted in Multimedia Commons in the week of 11 May 2015. For safety reason, the following facilities will have been temporarily suspended from 11-15 May 2015.
- MC IT Lounge
- All or some Graphic PC Workstations in MC (please refer to View Booking Status in iBooking webpage for their latest status)
- All reading tables in MC
The AV Collection browse service and MC Counter service and Group Viewing Rooms will not be affected.
- G/F Groups Discussion Rooms
Minor consequential work will be conducted in G/F Groups Discussion Rooms on 11-12 May 2015. The Rooms will be temporarily closed with schedule as follows:

The following services will NOT be available during period:

- myRecord in OneSearch
- Remote access to library e-resources for other eligible users (e.g. Alumni)
- All other Library services requiring Library login
Searching in OneSearch and remote access to library e-resources for PolyU staff and students will not be affected.

Library Special Arrangements During Revision & Exam Period (11 Apr - 9 May)
- No Seat Reservation
Reading areas in the Library will be patrolled at intervals and unattended belongings will be removed. Please be considerate, and vacate your seat once you have finished.
- More 24-Hour Study Areas
In addition to the 24-hour Study Centre in Room L001, the Quiet Study Room in L003 on G/F will also be opened 24 hours during the period. Please access via the Core E entrance after Library closes.
- Quiet Study Environment
SILENCE must be observed in the Library. Noisy users may be asked to leave the Library.
- Booking of REC Research Carrels
There will be five sessions per day. Eligible users can reserve a session one day in advance via PolyU iBooking System.
