To support the teaching, learning and research activities of university members, and to foster effective communication between the Library and faculties, professional library staff members are designated as “Faculty Librarians”. They are responsible for (1) Providing subject-related consultancy services; (2) Conducting information literacy workshops and Library orientation; (3) Providing customised workshops to cater for individual department's needs on the use of Library resources; (4) Providing citation search services; (5) Working with faculty members to develop and maintain the subject collection in the Library collection; (6) Supporting management activities of faculties such as programme review and accreditation; and (7) Attending departmental or course planning committee meetings whenever necessary.
