Shun Pao, one of the most enduring and influential newspapers in modern China, played a significant role in documenting political, economic and cultural developments from 1872 to 1949.

申報是近代中國出版最早、歷史最悠久的中文報紙之一， 記錄由清末到民國時期近80年間政治、軍事、外交、經濟、文化、社會各方面情況。此數據庫收錄申報由1872年創刊至1949年停刊的全部內容。

Notes:

The complementary access of other resources (中國近代圖書庫 (Books of Modern China) and other newspapers in 中國近代報紙庫 (Chinese and English Newspaper of Modern China)) on the platform is available until 30 June 2025. Eligible users can download/browse 500 articles/chapters per database.
