《近代報紙數據庫》收錄了從晚清至中華人民共和國成立初期（約1872年至1950年代）,在中國各地報紙的詳細目錄信息。區域涵蓋北京 、天津、 河北、 山西、 內蒙古、 遼寧 、吉林 、黑龍江 、上海、 江蘇 、福建 、山東、 湖北、湖南、 廣東、 廣西、 四川、 貴州 、雲南、 陝西 、甘肅 、寧夏、 新疆。 記錄含報紙名稱、出版日期起止、涉及年份、版數、創刊時間、出版發行單位、出版地及所屬輯次等關鍵字段，完整了近代中國報業的發展，為歷史學、新聞學、社會學等領域的學術研究提供了文獻資料。

圖書館已訂購資料庫的第一輯，第二輯至第十輯目前正在試用中。

《當代中文報紙資料庫》是一套以中國當代報紙為核心的全文資料庫系統，全面收錄各級黨報、綜合新聞類報紙及業界專業報紙，從政治、經濟、文化、教育、民生等多角度展現當代中國的變遷與發展。

此資料庫集文獻檢索與報紙瀏覽於一體，在原版原式閱讀的基礎上提供深度檢索與應用功能。目前已收錄中文報紙近500種，最早回溯至1949年，包含約800萬版報紙版面與2億條新聞文獻。

內容涵蓋中央級報紙20餘種，如人民日報、環球時報、中國青年報、解放軍報、參考消息、科技日報、經濟日報等 ; 省級報紙50餘種，如北京日報、解放日報、廣州日報、深圳特區報、大圳間特區、眾日報等 ; 以及行業報紙100餘種，如中國石化報、中國航空報、證券時報、中國經營報、中國醫藥報、中國體育報、中華讀書報等，為研究中國近現代社會、政策與文化提供了權威而豐富的資源。
