The American Association of Textile Chemists and Colorists (AATCC) serves textile, apparel, and materials professionals worldwide by developing standardized test methods for evaluating product quality, such as colorfastness, durability, and performance characteristics.

AATCC provides education, research resources, quality control materials, and networking opportunities to support innovation and sustainability in the global textile industry. Its standards are widely used and often form the basis for international ISO equivalents.

AATCC standards are accessible through subscriptions on the ASTM Compass platform.
