Databases

The database includes books published in mainland China from 1900 to 1949, which encompasses various genres, including humanities, social sciences, politics and law, history and geography, education, and translated literature. It offers full-text search functionality and supports online reading, catalogue browsing, thumbnail viewing, full-text search, printing, and other features.

Note:

• To apply for "My Study Room" for the first time, it is necessary to be within the IP range of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University.
• The database operates as an online ebook database and does not include offline access, borrowing, or reservation functionalities.
• Downloading is not available, but printing is allowed. Each print session has a maximum limit of 10 pages, and there is no restriction on the number of print sessions.

尚儀近代華文書籍暨圖像資料庫收錄自1900年至1949年在中國大陸所出版圖書，種類包含了人文、社會研究、政治法律、史地教育、翻譯文學等。除了提供全文檢索功能，並支持線上全文閱讀、目錄瀏覽、縮圖瀏覽、全文檢索、列印等功能。

使用說明:

• 首次申請「我的書房」，必須要在理工大學的IP內才能申請。
• 資料庫是線上電子書資料庫的概念，沒有離線、借閱、預約功能。
• 不能下載，但可列印, 每次最多列印10頁，列印沒有次數限制。
