Ms Cheung Wai Han, Ada has been promoted from Assistant Librarian II to Assistant Librarian since 1 Aug 2014. In her new position, Ada is responsible for the planning, development and implementation of the PolyU Institutional Research Archive and cataloguing.

- New Staff On Board

Ms Tam Lai Mui, Gladys joined the Library team on 1 Sep 2014 as Senior Assistant Librarian (Planning and Project Development). With many years of experience in academic libraries, Gladys will be responsible, in partnership with other Library staff, for planning and developing strategic projects to advance Library mission in serving the University community. She will also help identify and analyze statistics and performance measures to facilitate Library management in service planning.

Miss Fung Sue Man, Sue has recently joined the University Library as Executive Officer (Management Support Section) to support staffing and budgetary functions, and compilation of reports and statistics.

- Happy Retirement: Mr Leung Yuk Wah
On 17 Jun 2014, we bid a sad farewell to Uncle Wah who retired from the Acquisitions Team after 23 years long service! We thank Uncle Wah for all the hard work he has put in over the years, for the support he has given us and the help he has rendered us. We wish Uncle Wah great happiness in retirement and hope he will keep in touch with friends at the Library in the future. |
