- Check it Out! Self-checking of Reserve Books
The Library is pleased to introduce the Self-check-out service in the Reserve Collection. Users can now check out reserve books on hourly and 7-day loan on their own.
The self-check workstation inside the Reserve Collection on the P/F of the Library is user-friendly and employs RFID and touch screen technology. Just swipe your Student/Staff/Library card, key in your Library PIN, put the books on the workstations and you are done. It is simple and fast, and more than one book can be checked out in one go.
Don’t forget to collect your loan receipts for record and return the reserve books to the Circulation Counter on time.

- Media Services RELOCATED to 4/F (from 11 Aug 2014)
Due to construction of the new Multimedia Commons, the current Media Services Counter and viewing area will be temporarily relocated to 4/F.

- Drinks in Spill-proof Containers Allowed in the Multipurpose Hall (P/F)
To promote a welcoming environment for social learning, the Library is pleased to announce that non-alcoholic drinks in spill-proof containers are now allowed in the Multipurpose Hall (P/F) of the Library. Spill-proof containers include containers with tops that can be re-closed, sports bottles or disposable cups with lids. Containers considered unacceptable include cans of soft drinks, open cups, or glass bottles.
Be considerate and dispose of any drink-related trash properly and immediately after consumption. If you spill anything, please alert Library staff immediately. |
