With the support of ITS, the Wi-Fi access points in the Library have been increased and upgraded over the last summer. Free Wi-Fi connection for eligible users in the Library should now be faster and more stable after the upgrade. Users are welcome to report to the Service and Technical Help Desk on 3/F or call 2766-6909 if they find any Wi-Fi connection problem in the Library.
In need for notebook PCs, Macbook Air or iPads for group discussion in the Library? Users will soon be able to borrow them at the Circulation Counter (P/F) for up to 5 hours, for in-house use. Watch out for the launch date and the details to be announced soon!
Users eligible for free Wi-Fi service in the Library can now print from their iPhone, iPad or Android phone to a network printer in the Research Enhancement Centre (3/F). If proved successful, the Library will extend the service to network printers on other floors. To do the printing, users need to download the printing app from Apple App Store or Google Play first.
