Locating Dissertations and Theses from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University

• Print Collection

Use Advanced Keyword Search of the PolyU Library Catalogue. Enter "Hong Kong Polytechnic" and other keywords in the search boxes provided. Select THESIS under Material Type before submitting the search. Hardcopies of PolyU theses are located at the Special Collection of our Library. Please request them at P/F Circulation Counter.

• Online Collection

Upon authors' permission, many PolyU theses have been digitized and the full-text images are made available at PolyU Electronic Theses. You may search by keywords, or select by year, degree and department.

PolyU doctoral theses starting from 2002 are also included in ProQuest Dissertations and Theses.




Locating Dissertations and Theses from Other Local Institutions

Dissertations and Theses Collections (DTC) is an online union collection of Hong Kong postgraduate students' doctoral and master dissertations and theses indexed in the online catalogues of seven university libraries in Hong Kong. Several local university libraries have established online databases for keeping their own master's and doctoral theses. If permitted by the author, the full-text of the paper can be obtained online for free. Below are some of the online theses databases:
