- Try the Power of OneSearch –
a One Stop Search Solution for Library Resources - Library Collection + e‐Resources - allows you to search almost all Library printed and electronic resources.
- Library Collections - for searching Library books, journals, AV materials, PolyU collections including PolyU IR and other in‐house databases.
- e‐Resources - for searching e‐Books and e‐journal articles.
- Extended Search - to search for Library journal articles with a federated search. It assists in locating articles from databases that are not covered in the pre‐index database available in e‐Resources above.
The Library is proud to introduce to you the new discovery platform, OneSearch, that allows users to locate articles, books and journals in just one search. The new search platform has been fully launched since early January 2012, with its Google-like search box integrated in the Library Homepage. The PolyU Library is now the first and only institution in Hong Kong that provides discovery service of this kind.
What is OneSearch?
It is a discovery platform providing a one-stop solution for the discovery and delivery of local and remote resources, such as printed books, audiovisual materials, journal articles, and other digital objects. You can conduct your search with keyword, title word, author name, subject word, call number or ISBN/ISSN. Full text of the online resources, where available, can be shown instantly through the platform. Users can further filter their results with specific subjects, formats, publication years, authors, subjects, etc., as they like.
