iBooking System Regulations Updates

With effect from 1 January 2017, the below iBooking regulations will be revised to increase student access to the Library’s facilities:

  1. MC Group Viewing Rooms - Booking session duration shortened to 2 hours

    The duration of each session will be shortened to 2 hours. Updated booking times are as follows:

Reading areas in the Library will be patrolled at intervals and unattended belongings will be removed. Please be considerate, and vacate your seat once you have finished.

In addition to the 24-hour Study Centre in Room L001, the Quiet Study Zone in L003 on G/F is also open 24 hours until 23 Dec. PolyU staff and students may access the area via Core E entrance after Library closes.

Environment
SILENCE must be observed in the Library. Noisy users may be asked to leave the Library.
BOOKING of
REC Research Carrels
There will be five sessions per day. Eligible users can reserve a session one day in advance via PolyU iBooking System.
CHECK OUT 
Facilities After Use
Tap your PolyU ID Card on the check-out reader nearby to release your booked group rooms on G/F and 3/F, and carrels in 3/F Research Enhancement Centre (REC) after use.
