Relocation of Technical Support Desk on 27 September (Wed)

Technical Support Desk previously located on 3/F REC has been moved to i-Space, 4/F North Wing. Please note that the following printing services will be available at the new Technical Support Desk

  1. Large format printing; and
  2. 3D printing and thermal binding services.

After the Technical Support Desk relocation, please pick up and return your Inter-library loans at Loan & Return Counter, P/F.

Please note that the Library also operates a 24-hour Study Centre on the G/F. The Centre is accessible via the Core E entrance after Library closes, and users are required to present their valid PolyU staff / student ID cards to the security guard before entering.

READ@PolyU 2017 is On Now!

We are pleased to announce READ@PolyU 2017, the seventh year in operation, has already started.

The 2017 Common Book is "The Perks of Being a Wallflower" by Stephen Chbosky. Written in 1999, the novel features the teenaged Charlie, whose fate of being an observant “wallflower” to the life happening around him is challenged with new friendships, and the changes that adolescence and a new high school year bring on.

The READ@PolyU 2017 programmes that are open to all PolyU students and Staff include:

  • A Library Exhibition on P/F hosted by our co-organiser, Breakthrough
  • A Film Screening of the film adaptation of The Perks of Being a Wallflower on 19 October
  • Guest Lunch-time Talks with Principal Alman Chan on 12 October, and Social Worker Jeffrey Andrews on 2 November, in the Library’s Multipurpose Hall

Fire Alarm Bell Test on 6 Sep 2017 (8:00-9:00am)
