Essential Science Indicators (ESI) covers a multi-disciplinary selection of over 11,000 journals around the world. This in-depth analytical tool offers data for ranking authors, institutions, nations, and journals. It provides researchers with a unique and comprehensive compilation of science performance statistics and science trends data based on journal article publication counts and citation data from Web of Science databases. ESI can determine the influential individuals, institutions, papers, publications, and countries in a field of study – as well as emerging research areas that could impact work.
