Project Associate, Department of Health Technology & Informatics
Reading is the act which brings books to life, and a library is as much a place for people as it is a place for books. Thanks to the “Honour with Books” programme, I have the opportunity to dedicate a book to show my affection to someone I respect, and, at the same time, to support the library’s continual effort to provide quality services and resources in raising educational aspiration. |

Clinical Instructor, School of Nursing
When I was young, I was poor and my family could not afford buying me extra books. I was lucky that I entered my primary and secondary school that encourage reading and have resourceful libraries to help students to nourish their reading habits. The ‘Honour with Books” programme is very meaningful not only because it allows me to show my support to the PolyU Library, but also to express my sincere thanks to the teachers and sisters of my former school. The books that I shared are written by my past school principal. I really hope that every people in the world can have chances to read and learn.
