- IT Lounge of Research Enhancement Centre (3/F) – 33 PCs
- 2 of them are also installed with Adobe CS5 applications and color scanners - Media Services (3/F) – 42 PCs
- Teaching & Learning Lab 1 & 2 (3/F) – 69 PCs
- 24-hour Study Centre (G/F) - 30 PCs
The Library continues to enhance the IT services and provision to meet your needs. Various computing equipment and printing services have been upgraded in the past few months. We hope you will find them helpful to your study and research.
All 32 standing express workstations for quick information search have been upgraded with new notebook PCs over the summer. 40 PCs in Library User Education Room (L017) and 42 PCs in Media Services as well as 14 PCs in G/F 24-hour Study Centre have been upgraded with either new notebooks or all-in-one PCs.

Quite a number of PCs in the Library are now installed with MS Office applications, various web browsers and plug-ins to support different use purposes, such as information search, web navigation, Word/Excel file editing, etc.
You may reserve the following multipurpose PCs one day in advance in Library’s iBooking System. Reservation policies and guidelines can be found in the Library Homepage or at URL: http://www.lib.polyu.edu.hk/usinglib/iBooking
The following multipurpose PCs are provided on a first-come first-served basis. All users can log in to use these PCs with their Library No. and PIN.

11 PC workstations installed with either MS Office or Adobe CS applications for printing to b&w printers, color printers or a plotter. Staff assistance is available there to help you to prepare printouts in different sizes.

12 b&w photocopiers provided on different floors have been upgraded for enhanced printing speed and performance. Three high-speed colour scanners are available for providing free scanning service in the Photocopying Unit, replacing the previous flatbed scanners on different floors.

Wifi printing is available on all floors of the Library. PolyU staff and students (with PolyU NetIDs) can print to the Library network printer in b&w from their notebook PCs or MacBook after installing the relevant printer drivers from the Library webpage at: http://www.lib.polyu.edu.hk/usinglib/notebookprinting
