Being environmental friendly, starting from 1 August 2012 we no longer stamp or issue due date slips except for Reserve Books and Closed Stack items. The due dates may change if the items are recalled by another users (and the Library will notify you via e-mail). You are advised to always check the due dates of your borrowed items at myRecord on Library Homepage.

Many of you have used iBooking for reserving PC workstations and research carrels. 5 Group Discussion Rooms at Media Services (3/F) which can accommodate 12-18 users are now available at iBooking for online reservation. Groups of 4 users or more can reserve the rooms one day in advance and use them for group discussion, viewing or presentation preparation.

Need more time for the books on hourly loan from the Reserve Collection? A new book category is now added to the Reserve Collection. These books are available for 7-day loan with no renewal or hold. Included are textbooks, recommended readings of your courses as well as some highly demanded popular books. Look for the purple "7-Day Loan" in the Reserve Collection on the P/F.
