To encourage reading beyond the textbook lists, the University Library is selecting some good picks for your reading enjoyment and inter-disciplinary knowledge acquisition. The selection is changing regularly so come to check the new selection at the Current Awareness Centre on the P/F of the Library!
Nursing Education in Video is a unique online collection of videos created specifically for the education and training of nurses, nursing assistants, and other healthcare workers. All of the videos in the collection have been created with the guidance of the Medcom-Trainex advisory board, and are regularly reviewed for accuracy, currency, and compliance with US Federal regulations from agencies such as OSHA and CMS.
The video database provides fully searchable transcripts running alongside the video; There are 11 basic indexing fields, such as author, transcript, discipline, subject, type, language, and year released; You can make video clips and create playlists for course or individual use; The videos can be watched on your Android or Apple tablet or phone.
