Teaching staff are welcomed to request our librarians to give special workshops tailor-made for their students on using library resources or conducting library research in specific disciplines. Please make advance arrangement with the Section Head of Information Services at lbstsang@polyu.edu.hk, or call 2766-6858.

 

Students in small groups are also welcomed to request for consultancy sessions with our librarians or Library Workshops on specified topics or assignment. We can help you

define a research need, types of information sources and their use



learn about subject and discipline-specific resources



access and evaluate information in a discipline


manage the research process, search strategies development and keep track of important materials

As it will take us some preparation time, please submit your request here at least 5 working days before your desired meeting date. We will then contact you to further discuss content coverage and other arrangements.
