• Recipients of Long Service Award

A total of 29 Library staff received the Long Service Award at the University’s Award Ceremony held on 21 January 2011 in appreciation of their loyal service to the University. Of the 29 Award recipients, 22 staff have served the Library for 15 years, 4 have served for 20 years, 2 for 25 years and 1 for 30 years. The Library is very grateful for their dedicated service and contribution over the past years.

Ms Grace Poon, Section Head (Library Revitalization), has just retired in April. During her 20 years of service in the Library, Grace had worked in various areas including Projects, Information Services and Circulation. As the leader of the Library Revitalization Project, Grace played an important role in shaping the new learning environment within the Library. Grace, our heartfelt thanks to you for your great contribution in the past and we all wish you the best in this next phase of your life.
