The brand new Research Enhancement Centre (REC) on the Library 3/F is now open and will be in full operation in March/ April 2011. This centre aims to create a comfortable and dynamic space conducive to problem-based learning, discussion and user interaction. New facilities such as an IT Lounge, User Education Rooms and Research Carrels will be available. This is also the new home of Ms Christina Chau, e-Learning Librarian and her team! You are welcome to contact Ms Chau for your e-Learning needs.
Faculty/Schools Librarians are here to assist you during the course of your research. You may contact your Faculty/Schools Librarians for advice on identifying and using of various library and online resources. A new IT Helpdesk will also be available to provide service on technical issues.
Notebook users can now enjoy the convenience of wireless printing in the REC. After installing the printer driver (see details), users can print with their notebook PCs to the black and white printer near the research carrels.
