New Library Homepage to be Launched on 22 Dec 2014
PolyU Library will launch a new homepage with responsive web feature optimized for viewing in desktops, tablets and mobile phones. The real-time status of key facilities is also made available on the main page to facilitate quick browsing and reservation. To ease navigation through the search results, a "bento-box" style display will be implemented for OneSearch which groups dynamic search results by major resource types.

Please note that the Library also operates a 24-hour Study Centre on the G/F. The Centre is accessible via the Core E entrance after Library closes, and users are required to present their valid PolyU staff / student ID cards to the security guard before entering.
3/F Area Opened for Quiet and Group Study during Exam Period
More study space is now available in Room L303 on 3/F of the Library during exam period. Carrels and tables are available for quiet study and five group study rooms are available for booking at the Loan & Return Counter. Please enter the room via the back stairs (near the Research Help Desk) as part of the room is fenced off due to installation work still in progress.
Library Special Arrangement During Revision & Exam Period (22 Nov - 20 Dec 2014)
NO SEAT Reservation
Reading areas in the Library will be patrolled at intervals and unattended belongings will be removed. Please be considerate, and vacate your seat once you have finished.
MORE 24-hour Study Areas
In addition to the 24-hour Study Centre in Room L001, the Quiet Study Room in L003 on G/F will also be opened 24 hours during the period. Please access via the Core E entrance after Library closes.
QUIET Study Environment
SILENCE must be observed in the Library. Noisy users may be asked to leave the Library.
BOOKING of REC Research Carrels
There will be five sessions per day. Eligible users can reserve a session one day in advance via PolyU iBooking System.
