Resource List: Understanding Students’ Engagement

Notice Friday, December 20, 2019 - 10:24

As the semester draws to a close, we can make use of analytics and data from the Resource List platform to better understand how our students are making use of the reading lists for your courses.

Resource List, a tool launched in July 2019, aims to connect your students with your course readings right inside Learn@PolyU. This platform allows Instructors and Librarians to collaborate and manage suggested readings and other resources to support students’ learning.

Log on to Learn@PolyU, access the Resource List platform and see usage analytics under “Reports” in the left sidebar. Here are some useful usage analytics you can use to better understand how your reading lists are used:

  • Total number of Active Students
  • Total number of Full Text Access
  • Total number of Likes

These analytics can be exported into an Excel spreadsheet for further analysis.

Do check out our guide for Resource List to learn more!

Should you have any queries, please feel free to contact your Faculty Librarian or call us at 2766-6863 (9 am – 5 pm, Monday to Friday, excluding Public Holidays) during this period.
